Podcast: Expression Impressions

The podcast aims at bringing forth and thereby spread awareness on the significant relationship between the creative arts and mental health, especially for teenagers. The process involves researching and interviewing eminent scholars, experts, academicians and historians from across the globe. The conversations bring forth the diverse experiences , approaches and methods of enabling communities to access and benefit from the intersection of arts and mental health

The Story

It was during the pandemic and from a deeply personal experience , that the seed of the podcast was sown. It led to organisation of an online event in November 2021 , with 3 guest speakers from the arts fields to speak to a diverse audience of students, their parents and grand parents on the utility of the arts in mental well-being. The conversion became a very significant lens through which Diya began engaging in informal interactions with peer and faculty.

In February 2022, Expression Impression was launched with the concept that “Your expressions can leave an impression on the world”.
